Anna Hazare is a Gandhian follower and Social crusader. He started a new Indian thought against corruption the “Social Evil”. He was a soldier, at the time of indo-china war 1962 the government of India had called young Indians to join the Indian army. Hazare joined the Indian army in 1963. Hazare was greatly influenced by Swami vivekananda’s teachings during this time.
After few years he left army job and travelled around India and he witnessed lot of problems especially corruption throughout his journey. He started indefinite hunger strike at Azad Maidan in the last week of July 2003. By following this strike, the president of India signed the draft of the right to Information Act after his twelfth day long hunger strike and ordered the state government to implement with effect from 2002. The same draft was considered for making the Right to Information Acct 2005.
Hazare deservedly won Padmashree and then Pudmabhushan, Care International of the USA, Transparency International and Seoul (South Korea) also felicitated him. Apart from this he also received award worth 25 lakh and donated the entire amount for the Swami Vivekananda Kritadnyata. Gandhian Anna Hazare started anti corruption movement to eradicate corruption from India. Government of india accepted his recommendations and decided to form a committee to make Lokpal Bill.
Anna Hazare has been fighting against corruption for the last 25 years. He got massive support from the people and media to fight over corruption. Social crusader Anna Hazare said, he plans to travel across the country and use SMSs to discuss the Lokpal Bill with people, after his resounding victory on the demand for a tougher anti-graft legislation. After leading a triumphant crusade on the anti-graft bill, social reformer Anna Hazare is likely to launch a movement against the dominance of money power in elections and criminalisation of politics.
Famous Tamil superstar RAJANIKANTH announced that, he wish to join with Anna Hazare to fight against corruption and he said best wishes to Anna Hazare and his followers to succeed against corruption.
Delhi witnessed Gandhiyan Anna Hzare's another strike against corruption on 08-06-11 with great support from the public at Rajghat. Hazare also called the mounding nationwide campaign against corruption as India's second independence struggle. He said Mahatma Gandhi fighted against the British colonial rule and they withdrawn from India in 1947 but corruption and criminalism is not eradicated till the date and actually we did not realized real freedom. He said "We have started the second independence struggle but you should not back off. We will be ready to die but we will not surrender."

Anna hazare is fighting to bring Prime Minister under Lokpal bill and that's all. He has done null to the poor farmers of India,if he succeeds even the profit makers will be the congress,while taking the awards from Union Government he never utter a word for Bofors case or so and so ?The media under the control Rupert muddock's lion's share coverage supported Anna. May God bless him1 But the Mass will have to bear the brunt of corruption.
