EARLY MORNING SEPTEMBER 11,2001, NINETEEN HIJACKERS TOOK CONTROL OF FOUR COMMERCIAL AIRLINES AND ATTACKED CRUCIALLY TO THE WORLD TRADE CENTRE. 3000 DIED IN NEW YORK CITY AND WASHINGTON. AMONG FOUR HIJACKED PLAIN, TWO CRASH TO THE WORLD TRADE CENTRE AND ONE TO THE PENTAGON AND ANOTHER ONE TO THE PENNSYLVANIA COUNTRY SIDE. NEARLY 3000 PEOPLE ARE KILLED BY TERRORISTS. ACCORDING TO THE DEFENSE DEPARTMENT'S BOOK ABOUT THE PENTAGON ATTACK, THE PENTAGON DID NOT HAVE AN ANTICRAFT SYSTEM ON THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING OR ON THE GROUNDS.
The United state responded to the attack by lounging war on terrorism. They invaded Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, who had harbored Al-Qaeda terrorists. The damage of the pentagon was cleared and repaired with in a year and the pentagon memorial build adjacent to the building.
A monument were build to remember the people who ware killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack and it will be open for the people at zero ground on the tenth anniversary. After this opening the world trade center place will be called as 9/11 monument instead of zero ground.
Monument consists of artificial water falls, two water lakes and beautiful trees etc. Michele arade and Peeter waker are the designers of this monument.
